Change in the Night

Life's heart beating,
a rapid candence snare drums echoing in the night.
Star light flares and under that glare.
I dance with mad delight
The stars glare and simmer in disaster's opalescence around the numbed warmth of campfires glow.
With starlight on my skin I felt calm within.
I forgot the chaos of my mind and found peace for a time.
Kaleidoscopic visions continues to spin around me as world fall still again.
Serenity hushs me until my heart nearly stops.
The rain falls and I smile.
Wilderness wrapped in shadow,so peaceful,so quiet.
Nothing is quite so beautiful, so divine so right as a forest at night.
A keening fills the air alone and lost in a sea of darkness.
A seperation of tears at the hearts of mankind.
We are not alone.
In darkness many lay waiting.
Watching for sunrise a blinding light of revelation.
Revelation comes with the dawn.
Light threads a tapestry of understanding.
knowledge of the world we are in, the path we are on.
dawn relights the fire that fuels the eternal desire for what lies beyond.
As I close my eyes, My hopes for tomorrow swell, a crescendo in the morning.
Hope that tomorrow brings nothing but better days.
